About

Kiho Lim is an Associate Professor of Computer Science at William Paterson University of New Jersey, where he leads the WPU Cybersecurity Lab. He previously served as a faculty member at the University of South Dakota and earned his M.S. and Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Kentucky. His research interests include cybersecurity, network security, authentication, zero-trust security, connected and autonomous vehicle security, mobile and wireless networks, biometric security, and applied AI/ML for security.

Teaching

Dr. Lim teaches cybersecurity, networking, cryptography, ethical hacking, penetration testing, cyber defense, and digital forensics. His certifications include Cisco Certified Instructor for CCNA and ACUE Certification in Creating an Inclusive and Supportive Learning Environment.

Research

His research portfolio includes more than 50 publications in international journals and conferences. He has also received research grants from NRF and IITP and served as a guest editor for FGCS, Sensors, DCN, and ICT Express.

Service

Dr. Lim founded and directs the WPU Cybersecurity Lab and established the Cisco Networking Lab. He also contributes to hands-on lab infrastructure, cybersecurity curriculum, and student research mentoring.
